Changes to the Initiation Program for 2017-18
Submitted By April Perks on Tue 04 04, 17

The OMHA will be implementing half-ice games at the Initiation level beginning next season.  Also, 4 year-olds will not be permitted to register to Initiation teams but to Preschool only.  This is all new to us, but we at the AMHA do our best to adapt to these changes as they come from the OMHA.  We will work together to make the introduction to hockey suitable and enjoyable to all of our young players.  Even if it means a transition to half ice games for our Initiation team and to in house scrimmages for our Preschool players we look forward to working with our new and returning players in those age groups.
