PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD CAN SKATE UNASSISTED BEFORE REGISTERING FOR HOCKEY.  IF YOUR CHILD CANNOT SKATE UNASSISTED, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND REGISTERING FOR SKATING LESSONS WITH THE NORTH KAWARTHA SKATING CLUB. 


Registration Fees for the 2023-2024 Season (Please note, all teams are travelling teams):

U11 (2013-2014) $650
U13 (2011-2012) $650
U15 (2009-2010) $650
U18 (2006-2008) $650

No Volunteer Fees
No Out of Town Fees
No Gate Fees
No Team Fees
No Team & Individual Photo Fees

There will be an association fundraising initiative at the start of the season that we hope all families will participate in to alleviate the costs of ice, refs, tournaments, etc.

Registration fees have not increased.  This season, registration will include:

Preseason practices (formerly Clinics)
Game Socks and Jerseys  
Last Name Bars
Home Game & Practice Ice
Referee Fees & Mileage
Team & Individual Photos
Minimum 1 Tournament
Year End Awards Banquet
OMHA Assessment Fees & Insurance

 Additional family members receive a $50 discount for season registration
A photocopy of birth certificate and a parent's driver's license is required for first time players
Additional fees for tournaments may apply
Cheque, cash and E-transfer now accepted.

1st time hockey parents must complete the online Respect in Sport Parent Program in order for their child to be rostered to a team.  Please follow the link below to complete the online course BEFORE registering your child for hockey.

REGISTRATION for the 2023/24 Season
will open July 1st online only 


Payment for the 2023-24 Season is due in full by November 1st


You may pay in full when you register or select the payment installments option when you register.  The installments are five equal amounts with the first due at the time of registration.  The remaining four installments are due by August 1st, September 1st, October 1st and November 1st.


Pre-season practices (formerly Clinics) will begin Friday, September 8th and run on Mondays and Fridays for all teams for the month of September.  Regular practices will begin the first week of October and will be Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.  Games for U11 and above will begin mid October.  Games for U9 and below will begin the end of October.

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to returning players.  Many of our teams are already full based on last season's numbers.  If you are new to the AMHA, your player may be placed on a waiting list.
