Awards Banquet Recap

This past Saturday, April 8th was the annual AMHA awards banquet.  The NKCC Banquet Hall was packed with players, parents, grandparents and siblings.  Each player and coach was given a custom Apsley Flames ball cap with their name and # embroidered on the back.  The Initiation players each received a participation trophy and the following team awards were given out:





Novice

Most Valuable Player - Evan Shee
Best Forward - Connor Sayers
Best Defenseman - Cody Dunford
Sportsmanship & Dedication - Beckham Perks
Most Improved Player - Ollie Olauson

Atom
Most Valuable Player - Keagan Perks
Best Forward - Noah Olauson
Best Defenseman - Austin Shee

The AMHA Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Zoe Downes for her commitment and dedication to the time clock. Zoe served close to 170 hours this season!

    The Apsley Minor Hockey Association has opened up a new division for our future Flames.  The U5 division is open to 2017-2018 birth years and will consist of one 1-hour ice time per week for a fee of $125 for the season.

    The "Back to School" Power Skating & Skills Clinics are set to start on Friday, September 10th and run every Monday and Friday until October 1st.  Regular team practices are expected to begin in October.

    Online registration for the 2021-22 AMHA Season will open on Sunday, August 1st, 2021.  The registration link is located near the top left corner of the Apsley Minor Hockey website.

    Online Coaching & Bench Staff applications for the 2021-22 AMHA Season will open on Thursday, July 1st and close on Saturday, July 31st. If you wish to be on a bench, don't forget to apply for the 2021-22 season!
