*This will be your regular practice time. Regular Practices will continue on Mondays & Thursdays for the remainder of the season. Initiation will have ice most Saturday mornings at 10:00am beginning Saturday, September 28th for games or practices.
There will be practices on Thanksgiving Monday, October 14th.
There will not be practices October 31st, December 21st, 23rd, 26th, 28th, 30th, January 2nd or Family Day Monday. The last practices of the season will be March 9th and 12th.
The league scheduling meeting will take place on October 7th. Game schedules will be released a few days afterwards. AMHA teams participate in the League of Eastern Ontario. The league comprises of teams from Apsley, Bancroft, Brighton, Campbellford, Centre Hastings, Douro, Ennismore, Havelock, Lakefield, Norwood, Otonabee, Tweed & Warkworth.
Games for Initiation – Midget will begin after Thanksgiving. Novice will transition to full ice games after January 15th. Home games for Novice - Midget will be either Friday nights, Saturdays or the occasional Sunday. Away games for Initiation - Midget will vary depending on the home ice of the other teams.
Our Atom - Midget teams are booked into the Haliburton Regional Silver Stick tournaments November 30th/December 1st for Atom and Peewee and on December 7th/8th for Bantam and Midget. We will be hosting a Novice Tournament on Saturday, January 25th and the Initiation Wrap-Up Day on Saturday, March 7th. Teams are welcome to participate in other tournaments/jamborees as well.
Regular season for Atom - Midget will end January 19th. Playoff round robins for Atom - Midget will begin January 24th and end February 23rd. Championship series for Atom - Midget will begin February 28th and end by March 12th. The season will also conclude by March 12th for Initiation and Novice.
