Playoff Update
The AMHA is extremely proud of both our Peewee and Bantam Flames.
The Bantam's season came to an end this past Saturday, February 29th on home ice. The Apsley Flames Bantam team finished in 2nd place as the League of Eastern Ontario 'A' Finalists.
The Peewee's finished their season yesterday, also in 2nd place as the League of Eastern Ontario 'A' Finalists. Good luck to the Peewees at the Bradford Blue & Gold Tournament March 20th - 22nd.
Our Initiation teams will be participating in the League of Eastern Ontario Initiation Wrap-Up day this Saturday, March 7th at the NKCC. They will be playing the Bancroft Jets teams at 8am and they will face off against the Douro Dukes teams at noon.
The Novice Flames won their final game of the season on Saturday by a score of 7-0 over the Warkworth Bulldogs. Goals were scored by Liam K. (2), Kasen M. (2), Dominic M., Creighton P. & Billy B. Assists were added by Liam K. (2), Owen H., and Greyson M. It was a great team effort! The Novices will now travel to Norwood on March 7th & 8th for the League of Eastern Ontario Novice Championship Weekend.
On Sunday, March 1st, the Apsley Flames Atom team won the first game of their series with the Ennismore Eagles. It was an exciting 6-5 win in overtime! Goals were scored by Hope T. (3) and Nolan J. (2). Carson E. finished things off with the OT goal! Their next game is at home this Friday, March 6th at 6:30pm.
The Midgets begin their series this Friday night, March 6th at 8pm at the NKCC against the Centre Hastings Grizzles.
Please come out this Friday night to the NKCC to cheer on our Atoms and Midgets!
