Registration Opens September 1st
Submitted By April Perks on Tuesday, August 25, 2020
Dear AMHA Families,

Registration for the 2020-21 Season will open on Tuesday, September 1st online and close on Saturday, October 31st.

Our intent is to run a Skills & Scrimmage Program on Monday's and Friday's beginning the end of September when the ice goes in.  The program will end on Friday, October 30th.  We plan to avoid having these sessions on the Friday and Monday of Thanksgiving weekend.  The cost per player for the Skills & Scrimmage Program will be $50.  Space will be limited to 30 skaters per age group.

Our plan for the regular season is to make the most of what we can with the limitations in place.  This will involve a weekly practice for each team and allotted game slots.  We are able to work with a modified hockey program of 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 game play.  This may involve travel to play other teams within our public health unit.  There will be a cap of 20 players in each division.

The AMHA modified season will begin in mid November and wrap-up in early March.  We plan to break for the Christmas holidays and also for Family Day Weekend.  We have discussed registration fees and feel that it is only right to provide a reduced rate in the absence of traditional hockey.  The fees for the season will be $200 per player for U9 and below (Birth Years 2012 - 2015) and $300 per player for U11 and above (Birth Years 2003-2011).

There will not be in person registration this season.  If you are unable to apply online, please contact us at 705-656-2529 or [email protected] to make other arrangements. Payment for the Skills & Scrimmage Sessions and for the modified season can be made via cheque or e-transfer. Details will be on the registration form.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.  The goal of the AMHA executive is to provide a safe and fun season for our players and to make 2020-21 one to remember!
