Province Wide Shutdown - AMHA Update
Greetings AMHA Families,

By now you’ve likely heard that as of 12:01 am on Saturday, December 26, Ontario will be entering a Province Wide Shutdown. These changes will be in effect for at least 28 days.

As a result, facilities for indoor or outdoor sports and recreational fitness activities (i.e., indoor arenas, rinks, walking tracks, gyms, fitness centres, etc.) must close.

This means that all AMHA activities will come to a halt for at least 28 days.  Ideally, practices will resume the week of January 25th and games will be scheduled for as early as the last weekend in January.  This will depend on whether or not the shutdown is extended, or if we are moved back to the green, yellow or orange provincial system.
If we remain in grey (shutdown) or get moved to red, hockey will not be able to start.

We will keep everyone updated as we get more information.  Should the shutdown be extended, forcing the hockey season to end, AMHA will begin the process of issuing refunds.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sincerly,
The Apsley Minor Hockey Executive
