End of the 2020-21 Season
Dear AMHA Families,

With our health unit entering RED yesterday and our ice going out the end of March, it was inevitable that our season came to a close.

We want to thank all of our players, parents, coaches, trainers and managers for making the most of what little season we had.  Our players did a great job adapting to the new format of game play in the few games we were able to play.  We certainly missed having our siblings, grandparents and other friends and relatives in the stands.

Everyone who paid for hockey will be receiving a partial refund.  This will take a few weeks to get out to everyone. Before a refund can be issued, we must first receive any red away jerseys for U8-U18 players that haven't been returned.  For the IN-HOUSE players please return the black or white game jerseys that your player may have and any red/white, red or yellow jerseys.  Please contact your team managers to make arrangements.

We will only be charging players $100 each for the season.  All players born from 2012-2016 will receive $100 back and players born from 2003-2011 will receive $200 back.  Refunds will be issued via e-transfer so please keep a look out.  If you paid your registration fees by cash or cheque we will contact you about your refund.  If you still have outstanding registration fees, please get these paid promptly.

This season the AMHA saw over 100 registrants.  That's more than we've ever had.  We had a great turn out for our IN-HOUSE program for players ages 4-8 and two teams each in the U11, U13 and U15 divisions.  Thanks to Lakefield, Otonabee and Norwood for working with us to try to put together a season for the kids.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered on the ice and who helped with time clock.  We truly appreciate each and everyone of you.

Sincerely,
The AMHA Executive
