We have openings in the Apsley Flames U7 and U8 divisions for the 2023-24 AMHA Season.
If you have a child born in 2016, 2017 or 2018 then there is room for you!
U7
The U7 divison is for 5 and 6-year-old players born in 2017 and 2018. The U7 team will practice on Monday nights at 6pm starting October 2nd. There will be no practices Thanksgiving Monday, Family Day Monday or during the Christmas holidays.
The U7 team will play approx. 12 regular season cross-ice games from October 27th - March 1st with the opportunity to also play some exhibition games. The U7 team may also participate in Jamborees (Tournaments). There will be a league year end wrap-up day in Madoc/Marmora on the March 2/3 weekend. Games for U7 are scheduled geographically with the closest centres to Apsley. This usually includes Lakefield, Bancroft, Douro, Ennismore, etc.
The U7 registration fee has been reduced to $400 per player. There is also a sibling discount of an additonal $50 bringing the U7 registration fee down to $350 if you already have another child playing in the AMHA. Registration fees include game jerseys to wear, game socks, last name bars if desired, team & individual photos, Jamboree fees, LEO Wrap-Up Day fee, year end awards, etc.
U8
The U8 divison is for 7-year-old players born in 2016. The U8 team will also practice on Monday nights at 6pm starting October 2nd. There will be no practices Thanksgiving Monday, Family Day Monday or during the Christmas holidays.
The U8 team will play approx. 16 regular season half-ice games from October 27th - March 1st with the opportunity to also play some exhibition games. The U8 team may also participate in Jamborees (Tournaments). There will be a league year end wrap-up day in Apsley on Saturday, March 2nd. Games for U8 are scheduled geographically with the closest centres to Apsley. This usually includes Lakefield, Bancroft, Douro, Ennismore, etc.
